RENTALS AND SERVICES FOR THE 2008 -2009 Season
All rentals are available Year Round
All Ivey House Guests receive a 20% Discount on Canoe or Kayak Rentals
A $25 non-refundable per boat deposit is required to guarantee a canoe or kayak
Children must be at least 5 years of age or older to use NACT Equipment

Prices are subject to change, but once you make your reservation your rates are guaranteed.

Everglades City is a great place to go on a paddle trip on your own. NACT rents a variety of boats, camping equipment and provides shuttles to a variety of areas.

When you go out paddling even for the day be prepared. Bring at least one gallon of water per person per day, food (extra food is always a good idea), sunscreen, bug spray, hat with a good brim, sunglasses, raingear, camera, binoculars and don't forget your map.

CANOE RENTALS:

All canoes are 17' aluminum Grumman and include paddles, PFD's and seat cushions.

  • Full Day Rental (8am to 5pm): $28.00 (Non-Ivey House Guest Rate: $35.00)
  • Additional consecutive days after first day: $21.60 (Non-Ivey House Guest Rate: $27.00)
KAYAK RENTALS:

All kayaks are rotomolded construction and includes paddle, PFD, spray skirt, and hatch covers.

NACT offers a variety of camping equipment necessary for overnight paddling trips in the Everglades. Those who rent a canoe or kayak from the Ivey House receive a 20% discount.

  • Five Gallon Water Jug: $2.40 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $3.00)
  • 60 Quart Cooler: $4.80 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $6.00)
  • 80 Quart Dry Box: $4.80 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $6.00)
  • Large Dry Bag: $4.80 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $6.00)
  • Camera Box: $4.80 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $6.00)
  • Two person Eureka Timberline Tent: $16.00 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $20.00) + $10 cleaning fee
  • Sleeping bag: $8.00 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $10.00) + $5 cleaning fee
  • Sleeping Pad (Rigid/ribbed): $3.00 each day (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $4.00)
  • Canoe paddle or Canoe PFD: $5.00 each day for a Non-NACT Renter
  • Kayak Paddle or Kayak PFD: $10.00 each day for a Non-NACT Renter

VAN SHUTTLES (One Way):

Prices are based on shuttling of 1 or 2 people and 1 canoe or 2 single kayaks. NACT Renter receives a 20% discount on shuttles. Our shuttles run on the half hour. Please call to arrange your shuttle. An additional gas sur-charge may apply.

  • Chokoloskee: $25.60 (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $32) - includes ramp fee
  • Sea Grape: $21.60 (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $27)
  • Turner River or East River: $25.60 (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $32)
  • Port of the Islands: $44 (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $55)
  • Collier Seminole State Park: $56 (Non-NACT Renter Rate: $70)

POWER BOAT SHUTTLES AND RE-SUPPLY SERVICES TO A VARIETY OF CAMPSITES AND BEACHES:

Shuttle boats are center console open cockpit fishing boats, and there is no shelter from weather or sea conditions. Tides and weather conditions may influence departure times and may exclude certain locations. Price based on two people, one canoe or two kayaks, and standard gear. Prices are based on one-way. An advance reservation in necessary and the availability is limited. Please call concerning prices for other locations.

  • Sunday Bay, Pavilion Key, or Lulu: $250
  • Sweetwater or Watson's: $300
  • Hog Key or Mouth of Lostman's River: $350
  • Highland Beach or Plate Creek: $450

FLAMINGO SHUTTLES (Paddling the Wilderness Waterway Trail):

  • If renter does not need a vehicle shuttle service, NACT will pick up the NACT rental boat and any rental equipment for $200 for first boat and $25 for each additional boat.
  • Charges to have your car shuttled sometime while you are paddling and then NACT will pick up the NACT boat and equipment at another time: $380 for the first vehicle and $200 for each additional vehicle. Add an additional $25 if your vehicle has a trailer.
  • Charges to shuttle you and your equipment to or from Flamingo: $480 (1 or 2 people and 1 boat), $25 for each additional boat or person. You are responsible for any boat charges at the ENP entrance gate. Wait time is $25 per each half hour if you are not at the specific location at the designated time.
  • An additional gas sur-charge may apply.

ONE WAY TRANSPORTATION IN NACT VEHICLE:

We will transport people to a variety of locations. An advance reservation is required and is dependent on availability. Charges are based on one or two people. Additional waiting time is $25 per each half hour. Side Trips are $1.50 per mile, or $2.00 per mile with trailer. Additional person over two persons are $25 per person. An 18% gratuity will be added to you bill for the driver. The following are base rates for each location. An additional gas sur-charge may apply.

  • Flamingo Marina Store: $480
  • Miami International Airport: $350
  • Fort Lauderdale International Airport: $300
  • Fort Myers International Airport: $250
  • Naples Airport: $150
  • Everglades City Airport: No charge for Ivey House and NACT Guests
