Things to Bring on an Everglades Paddling Adventure

We rent a variety of equipment, and provide shuttle services to a variety of locations. If you stay at the Ivey House before or after your paddle trip you will receive a 20% discount on a NACT canoe or kayak rental. We also sell a variety of items in our gift shop located in the Ivey House.

**When camping overnight in the Everglades National Park, you will need to go in person to the ENP Ranger Station, no more than 24 hours before you will be entering the water. In the winter months there is a permit fee to be paid to the ENP.

Rentals & Services Provided by NACT:

  • Canoes (including paddles, PFD's and ropes)
  • Kayaks (ruddered, non-ruddered, sit on top, and sit inside, singles and tandems)

  • Food and Water Containers - Waterproof and raccoon proof (do not use Styrofoam)
  • Tent with no-see-um netting-must be free standing for chickees
  • Sleeping bag and sleeping pad
