We are dedicated to providing a service that ensures guests feel welcome, confident, and enchanted. Our specialty is tailoring your dreams to our amazing surroundings. We believe in conservation and preservation of these beautiful lands. The canoe and kayak produce the lease amount of environmental impact which enables us to venture into the heart of the Everglades with a clear conscience. Our goal is to help travelers experience this pristine wilderness in a natural way. We provide guided full day, sunset, full moon, new moon, historical excursions, kayak fishing and other specialty trips; overnight guided canoe, kayak and boating adventures led by experienced naturalist guides; rental of canoes, kayaks, camping equipment and provide boat shuttle services to specific locations. We also provide accommodation at the Ivey House Bed & Breakfast which is the first Green Lodging in Collier County and the 47th in the state of Florida. Types of lodgings include the historic Ivey House Lodge, a two bed room private Cottage, and an upscale Inn with a courtyard including a tropically landscaped screened pool area. All of our buildings are non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Guests who choose to stay with us receive a 20% discount on all guided services and rental boats. Everglades National Park is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States and is made up of over 1.5 million acres. It was established in 1947 and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve, a World Heritage Site, and a Wetland of International Importance. In Everglades National Park there are over 1,000 species of plants, over 40 species of mammals, over 360 species of birds and over 50 species of reptiles. Everglades City specializes in stone crab claws and provides travelers many opportunities to experience this unique area. Popular activities in the surrounding area are hiking, canoeing, kayaking, seashelling, fishing, boating, birding and wildlife viewing. Everglades City is surrounded by several scenic parks, including Everglades National Park, Big Cypress National Preserve, Collier-Seminole State Park, and Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park. Being within a few miles of these parks and preserves allows explorers to experience a variety of ecosystems seen by very few.
